OUR LEADERSHIP PHILOSOPHY

We believe that leadership development is about fostering, supporting and challenging people around four key areas.

Power

Leadership involves power. As leaders, we leave behind a legacy far beyond our ability to see. It is critical that we use power wisely, effectively and with compassion. Power in leadership is about growing people, not making them small. It's also about taking a stand and setting boundaries.

Action

The only way that we can make the world a better place is by taking action. We must take steps, no matter how small to move forward. Leadership means courage - courageously stepping into the spaces and places of ambiguity and discomfort in order to progress.

Awareness

Good leadership means stepping back, asking challenging questions of ourselves so that we can understand the complex system in which we work. Leadership requires perspective and multiple points of view, and therefore challenges leaders to be detached, open and curious.

Compassion

What we do, how we do it and why we do it must always be based on simple compassion. No-one is perfect in this world, and everyone needs support to thrive. Leadership is about achieving good outcomes and outputs through processes that enable, not disable.
